One day you'll never see me again and it's not a threat, more of a promise, to myself, not to you, I don't promise to those who don't even trust themselves. One day, you'll never see me again, I'll never be the same again, I'll never be me again, I'll be a stranger, but am I not one already? To you? To me? I am someone else now and one day, I'll be someone else...yet you will stay the same no matter how much skin you shed and lies you spread, you'll be you, I'll be someone else. The Serpent Queen and The Bloodhound
Our story begins with a fisher named Zain. He was found washed up on shore with no memory of him or his past. The only thing he has with me is a terrible scar with mysterious pain, a dagger with strange symbols, and a badge that has no name or badge number. So, he was retrained as fisherman, but he is starting to notice there are strange things are happening in this town. This began to become more evident when he also no one really age at all, which began to bother Zain. For one thing, there were no young people in the village. Second, there was no technology within the village. While he could not remember his old life, he noticed new high-tech boats and equipment. He tried to convince the elders of the village to start using technology to help improve the village because they would openly mock them. Lastly, the villagers would not allow him to live near the village but rather live in far out spot. There was an old mansion on the outskirts of the village where someone used to live.
